Chief Adviser to the Interim Government, Professor Muhammad Yunus, has directed ministries and departments to begin their activities without delay.
He emphasised the importance of transparency and sensitivity, particularly through the engagement of the youth.
During a meeting held at the State Guest House Jamuna with senior secretaries and secretaries of the ministries and departments under his supervision, Professor Yunus made this call to action.
The secretaries provided the Chief Adviser with updates on their respective ministries’ action plans.
Professor Yunus also underscored the urgency of ensuring the availability of emergency supplies and instructed officials to expedite the reopening of ports and railways. He highlighted the critical need to maintain agricultural production and ensure the steady supply of fertilisers, fuel, and electricity.
The Chief Adviser urged the officials to take the necessary steps to address these priorities, ensuring that the country’s infrastructure and essential services continue to function smoothly during this transitional period.

The Chief Adviser made this call in a meeting with the senior secretaries and secretaries of the ministries/departments under him held at state guest house Jamuna.
In the meeting, the secretaries informed the chief advisor about the action plans of the ministries.
He also talked about ensuring emergency supplies.
At the same time, he gave instructions to speed up the reopening of ports and the railways.
Prof Muhammad Yunus asked them to take necessary steps to ensure that agricultural production continues and supply of fertilizers, fuel and electricity remains normal.
