Ferdous Ara, the prominent Nazrul song artiste of the country, has been presenting Ekushey Television’s ‘Ganere Opare’ programme for a long time. Impressed by Ferdous Ara’s expressiveness in speaking at a major event in the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, Ekushey TV’s producer Mohsina gave the responsibility of presenting the programme ‘Ganer Opare’ to Ferdous Ara.
Although Ferdous Ara did not say at the beginning, later Mohsina explained to her why it was necessary to present this programme, so Ferdous Ara started presenting the show.
From the beginning till today Ferdous Ara has been presenting this programme regularly. Among the music related programmes of different TV channels of the country, this programme which is being aired on Ekushey TV is the most popular one that Ferdous Ara has been performing at various times.
Ferdous Ara has come to know it in different ways from different people at different times. That is why she never wanted to withdraw from the presentation of this programme. She is presenting ‘Ganer Opare’ with great love.
Late legendary singer Subir Nandi was the guest in the first episode of the show.

Popular singer of this generation, Yeasmin Labonno has come to sing as a guest artiste of ‘Ganer Opare’ programme.
Yeasmin Labonno said that the recording of the songs has already been completed. She sang songs ‘Mon Metechhe Mon Moyurir Ki Khelay’, ‘Emon Ekta Jhinuk Khuje Pelam Na’, ‘Abar Kobe Kokhon Dekha Hobe Bolo’, ‘Prem Jeno Mor Godhuli Belay’ on the occasion. Labonno also sang the songs of two Bengals in the programme.
Labonno informed that her episode will be aired on Ekushey TV soon.
Meanwhile, noted singer Ferdous Ara told this correspondent, “I have heard the song in Labonno’s voice before on different TV channels. She has a very sweet voice. She sings very well. Her behaviour is also very good, and she is very polite. Artiste should be like that. I had a nice time. I have my sincere gratitude to Mohsina, because she wanted me to have such a wonderful event. Where I can express the words of my mind, can say that is all the love around the song. Mohsina said that they wanted an artiste who has experience in all genres of music as the host of the show.”
On the other hand, singer Yeasmin Labonno shared her feelings by this way, “Respected Ferdous Ara Madam already had an idea about my singing, I did not know that. She adores me very much, loves me, and loves me. Every time I met with her, she appreciated my songs a lot. This is a great achievement for me.”
