No power politics or political vacuum could stand against the sacred spirit of the invincible students, confronting the youth sentiment. The indomitable Millennial Generation and Gen-Z are the true legends, the gems who came forward to safeguard their beloved motherland from the recurring oppression and the persistent dictatorship. Here, history, perhaps won’t betray the students,and must recall time and again the power of youth spirits and the stellar legacy of protestation over the ages.
It is almost 23 days since the inception of strong protestation, particularly the inner forced approach that headed to confront the bloody atrocities and prevailing autocratic rule executed over mass people for a series of years gagging on their voice, snatching out the freedom, the hard clutching with iron-fisted dominance on lives got momentum and finally came up with flying color.
Mass people then regained the sigh of relief and aspired to own the changes oriented by good soul-change agents, the reality-making students and the trailblazers in the process of their grand emancipation.
Our homeland is an abode of some 177 million folks, starting an age range of 29 percent of youths, the majority of whom can rigorously translate their dream into reality. With fresh blood and a crimson attitude, they have sacrificed to avail their motherland free from the neoteric culprits of the days in 2024, which must not be void and in vain shattering the hope. Millions of people around the world have witnessed the unconditional sacrifice of our patriotic individuals bypassing every belonging, even forgetting about their last resort to breathe in, only to get their country a new commencement, which mattered and will matter a lot for sure in the days yet to come.
Those dignitaries, the honorable ruling entities in the steering wheel of the state mechanism under the newly formed Advisory Body are sincerely urged to work in repulsions of autocracy, disparity, dependence, unemployment, social instability, anarchy, assentation, nepotism, favoritism,and pampering of ill-intend people who acted for creating a building block to restrict the country’s gross development. And this is the ultimate promise of the entire nation to be focused on this time.
The signature sentence-“Rastra Meramoter Kaz Chaloman” must be colored with the clarion call for refurnishing the Bengali state with equity, equality, freedom, justice, and human rights, and paying the dues to its citizenry by removing condensed dissatisfaction, grave grievance, and deep-rooted frustrations.
The Advisory Panel assigned for the seatsof different ministries will work selflessly in transfiguring our homeland with dignity, prosperity, peace, and identity in the world atlas aligning with the glorious vows they have made to serve the nation and left their mere expectations of being in the incumbency of state-machinery; to that extent, all of them have disclosed that tenacious mindset and we strongly believe so.
It is a ray of hope that the Chief Advisor is much loved and respected globally by the young generation. The widely welcomed national icon Prof. Mohammad Yunus is himself a change maker of the highest order, resource mobilizer, youth lover, and global mentor for happening socio-economic changes in the country and beyond. The youth-friendly Chief Advisor-led interim government is expected to navigate the youth to bring the best for the country.
In the last 16 consecutive years, the country has been tarnished, torn out, and scrapped being overly burdened by exploitation, bloodstained dominance, and deepened frustration incessantly. Therefore, it needs to be a fresh offset; a new beginning. People from all walks of life demand only an exemplary democratic transition, a peaceful existence of democracy,and a fair presence of partisan politics. But, before the will of the mass people comes true, we all have to work in joint hands to bring back the image and regain the status of our country concerning democracy, freedom, economy, peace, justice, solidarity, development, transparency, and accountability. For this, we the youth-led spirits must focus on our willing mindset and can-do attitude to destine the paradigm shift in education first.
Today the demographic dividend is the real pride for Bangladesh. So, the country’s large youth population has to be equipped with the right set of knowledge and skills to turn them into holistic, developmental change agents in the fast-changing world. To prepare our indomitable youth as human capital and keep the tempo with a balanced socio-economic developmental process, the country might undertake a framework for formulating the National Education Management Policy (NEMP) in a hurry.
In the recent epoch, education is gradually becoming the utmost source of wealth for sustaining equity and equality, and tending multi-channeled growth as well. Therefore, policymakers sincerely need to realize strategic thinking and scenario building to form a long-term future vision and to ensure a strong foothold and competitive edge in light of sweeping changes taking place globally. In this regard, our knowledge-imparting mechanism and entire education system must be redesigned.
Bangladesh must not lag behind other nations in today’s knowledge, science, and technology-driven society. The ability of the country to survive and thrive in this novel era, and a changed reality experiencing “Bangla Bashanta,” would depend a lot on how better Bangladesh is efficient in educating, training,and mobilizing its youths in the different fields including academia, industries, economy, politics, policy formations, social development, and social changes, etc. We deeply believe that policymakers and the current state authorities concerned will adopt suitable strategies to promote knowledge and bloom it as the main component for establishing a knowledge economy grounded on human capital formation.
Familiar with the legendary experience of guiding youths, all the members of the newly formed interim government would annex thoughts to redirect planned development in reconstructing our homeland anew. In this regard, we expect systemic students’ alignment and active engagement in the mainstream of operating the government to translate the mass-awaited dream and hope and guide us all to the road to sacrifice unconditionally for the sake of our motherland if we feel the necessity again.
The dream that people have dreamt, the path they have chosen, the window of opportunity that has been open-wide, the grim clutch from which people have escaped- must intervene in the portfolios and agenda of the Advisory Body for the total development of our beloved country.
