The Police Headquarters has announced that police personnel are returning to their workplaces with considerable support from the public.

Citizens from various sectors, including students and the general public, are assisting police members in reaching their posts.

In response to a directive requiring police personnel to resume their duties within 24 hours, different segments of society have rallied to ensure their safe mobilisation.

The headquarters also clarified that reports of obstructions to police returning to their workplaces appear to be unfounded and urged the public not to be swayed by any misinformation.

In parallel, the Bangladesh Army, along with other armed forces and law enforcement agencies, has resolved to implement stricter measures to curb the ongoing destructive activities, including arson attacks, across the nation.

This decision was made during a meeting on Thursday attended by General Waker-Uz-Zaman, Chief of Army Staff, along with the Chiefs of the Navy and Air Force, the newly appointed Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md Mainul Islam, the Director General of RAB, and the DMP Commissioner.
