The drama ‘Rokeya’ is made with such a story. The drama is written by Sayem Khan, and directed by Helal Uddin Farhan. Alongkar Chowdhury is being praised for playing the title role in the drama.
Regarding talking about the drama, Alongkar Chowdhury told this correspondent, “I like to work in this kind of protest character. Thanks to the director, who gave me the opportunity to act in this role.
I have been trying since the beginning to work in dramas with good stories. I am getting that opportunity now. I want to work in such a challenging role in the future.”
Alongkar has recently entered the film industry. She acted in the movie ‘Muktir Chhotogolpo’ made with government grant in the financial year 2021-22.
The shooting of the movie directed by Masud Zakaria Sabin has already been completed. The work of dubbing has also been completed.
Alongkar will be seen in the role of a journalist. This young journalist fights against drugs.
