After the fall of Sheikh Hasina in the face of anti-discrimination activists, the life of the people of Rangpur city has started to become normal. Movements of office going people on the road in the morning are as usual. But public transport was less than other days. Long-distance vehicles are almost non-existent. As a result, workers have to rush to their destination with suffering. Due to the lack of public transport, everyone has to travel to the destination at extra fare.
Yesterday Tuesday (August 6) the image that can be seen around the important places of the city. Meanwhile, in different areas of the city, it can be seen that everyone has opened shops.
After the mass uprising of the students, public and private offices, courts and educational institutions were announced to open, but they are running loosely in all places and there was not much presence of students in schools and colleges.
It can be seen on the ground, the presence of common people has been seen in MordanMor, Lalbagh, Shapla, Press Club Square, Terminal, Medical Mor, Chowkbazar and Ship Company in the city. Most of the shops in these areas are open.
Meanwhile, office courts have opened but attendance has been low. Besides, there was no significant presence of students in schools and colleges. Army vehicles blew whistles in the city and forbade the public to take part in the destructive activities.
Meanwhile, the anti-discrimination activists of Rangpur arrived at the press club premises of the city at 3 pm with two trees each.
At that time they took out a joyous procession and planted saplings in different parts of the city.
However, no attack-vandalism was heard on Tuesday.
