The student’s platform of quota reform movement ‘Anti-discrimination Student Movement’ has announced new program ‘Prayer and Mass rally’.
According to the announcement, the students will pray after Friday prayers in mosques, pilgrimages to the graves of martyrs and also arrange prayers in all places of worship including temples, churches.
After Jumma prayers, they will also stage a mass precession of students and mass people in protest against massacres and mass arrests and for the realization of the 9-point demands of the students.
Abdul Quader, the coordinator of the movement announced the programme through a press release on Thursday and read out the overall situation of students’ movement and oppression.
They also called on the citizens of all levels of the country, including workers, professionals, cultural workers, media workers, human rights workers, intellectuals and scholars to join with the protest.
