A 20-year-old youth was stabbed to death by a mugger in Bandar Bazar area of Sylhet city on Tuesday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Shihab Uddin, who worked for an insurance company. He was from Rautkhai village in Tajpur under Osmaninagar upazila of Sylhet. Police and witnesses said Shihab was walking past Karim Ullah Market when the mugger, identified as Rana, attempted to snatch his mobile phone and flee.
