The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations scheduled to be held on August 4 have been postponed due to the unavoidable reasons.
The information was revealed here today in a notification signed by Chairman of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and also of the Dhaka Education Board Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, reports BSS.
“The postponed exams under all the education boards will be held according to the new schedule from August 11”, said the notification. The new schedule of the postponed exams will be informed later through the notice. Tapan Kumar Sarkar also requested to take necessary action in this regard.
Earlier, all public and private universities had been declared closed due to the violence surrounding the quota movement. Additionally, all secondary and higher secondary level educational institutions (schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical institutions) under the Ministry of Education, polytechnic institutes, and all primary schools in city corporation areas were been declared closed until further notice.
