The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination scheduled for Thursday (July 18) has been postponed due to ongoing quota movement.
The exams will continue as usual on July 21, said Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar on Tuesday (July 16).
On June 30, this year’s HSC and equivalent examinations began across the country.
The total number of nine general education boards, madrasa and technical boards is 14, 50,790 this year.
Of them, 7, 50,281 are male examinees and 7,00,509 are female students.
Meanwhile, the education ministry has announced that all secondary and higher secondary educational institutions as well as the polytechnic institutes will remain closed until further notice,.
