Sabina Yasmin’s popular playback song in voice of Sharmin Sumi

Sohel Rana and Suchorita starrer Masud Parvez (Sohel Rana) directed  movie titled ‘Jibon Nouka’ was released on 30 October in 1981. The song titled ‘Tumito Ekhon Amar e Kotha Bhabchho’ sung by Sabina Yasmin in the lip of Suchorita in this movie captured the hearts of the audience at that time.
At that time, the song was broadcast regularly on radio and TV. Special requests came from the listeners to listen to the song in various radio programmes. So, the song could be heard by
the mouth of the listeners.
This song in the voice of Sabina Yasmin was later heard in the voice of many artistes of Bangladesh in various
stage shows and TV shows.
The song was written by Gulbanu Khan and composed by Alam Khan. Sharmin Sumi got the permission to
sing the song in a new musical arrangement. Foad Nasser Babu arranged the new music of the song.
Sharmin Sumi is very excited to sing the song. The song has already been released on Alam Khan’s death anniversary (July 8) in ‘Alam Khan – The Melody King’. Earlier, several original songs were released in Sumi’s voice. But more than all her songs, the expression of Sumi’s voice in this song has greatly impressed the audience. Especially the pronunciation of every word from tune and with emotion has impressed the audience. Foad Nasser Babu, the music producer of this song, told this correspondent, “Sumi tried to sing well. The rest depends on the likes of the audience. However, Sumi’s love for this song,
passion and also passion to sing
well impressed me.”
Regarding talking about rendering the song, Sumi said , “I have tried to pay my respects to my respected Ustad Ji Alam Khan on his death day with this song. The opportunity to sing this song of Ustad Ji is the musical arrangement of Reverend Guruji Fand Nasser Babu. The guardian of my little musical life, Babu Bhai and Ustad Ji’s privileged son, Arman Khan Bhai, who owes me permission to sing the song, – I am sincerely grateful to these two great people who gave me
permission to sing the song. Respected Sabina Yasmin Madam is an artiste I love and respect her. My dream was to arrange and sing this song one day. But I did not think that it would be done with the permission of Ustad Ji’s family. How
I sing is up to the audience. But the fact that I was able to sing was my absolute find because this song is my favourite song. I have a humble request to forgive my mistakes in the song,” Sumi added.
