‘Heroes and heroines don’t allow their daughters in movies’

Popular film actress Moushumi has given one after another successful movies in her long film career. Although currently the busyness of the screen has decreased of this heroine, she is giving time to family, husband and children.
Moushumi married film actor Omar Sani in personal life. They have a daughter and a son in their family. However, the film couple did not allow any of the two children to enter the silver screen.
Their elder son Fardin Ehsan Swadhin is doing business, while their younger daughter Faizah is currently studying.
On the other hand, both Moushumi and Omar Sani have focused on their family and business.
In an interview recently Moushumi talked about why children of actors are not coming to movies where the tone of regret was heard in her voice.
Moushumi thinks that in the case of acting, the father agrees for the son but does not do so in the case of the girls, instead of stopping the girls.
While talking in this regard, Moushumi said, “No one has any problem with boys coming to act. I see all the heroes and heroines, if their sons want to do movies, don’t do them. But if a girl ever wants to be a heroine, everyone is worried about that.” Talking about hero Alamgir’s daughter Ankhi Alamgir, Moushumi said, “Ankhi Alamgir was very promising. But Bhaiya (Alamgir) did not allow her to work. She looked very beautiful and sweet. At that time a bunch of new faces were coming. But Ankhi was
not given that opportunity. If we get her, we would get
a very good heroine in the film industry.”
Moushumi also said, “Champa Apa’s daughter is also very cute. But Champa Apa never encouraged her to become a heroine. It can be seen that many of us have daughters, who are not allowed to come to the cinema despite their interest. They were brought up differently, encouraged to go into something other than cinema.
Why is everyone’s obstacle about becoming an artiste?”
Moushumi added that she encouraged her son Fardin Ehsan Swadhin to act in movies. However, Fardin, who is more interested in production than acting, has made several telefilms.
On the other hand, Moushumi said that her daughter Faizah was not interested in acting.
