Man missing in Sylhet

A person of Nepali community has gone missing from Sylhet metropolitan. The man named Paplu Pradhan (56) went missing on Saturday (July 6) afternoon. In this incident, a GD has been filed by his family at Sylhet Shahparan police station.
Paplu Pradhan is the son of Gauriman Pradhan, a resident of Kharadipara Anand 35/1, Shibganj area of the metropolis. He is a small businessman.
According to GD sources, Paplu left his home on Saturday afternoon to go to Sobhanighat raw market in the metropolis for his main business work. But he did not return home at night. The mobile phone used by him was also found switched off. The family members failed to find him at all possible places and lodged a complaint with Shahparan police station.
The family members said that there was half a million taka of business with Paplu Pradhan. He is a simple person. The family members fear that they may be under the grip of a cycle.
If anyone finds him, the family members have requested to contact the two mobile phone numbers 01674 861001 and 01641 248140 (son) or Shahparan police station.
In this regard, the officer-in-charge (OC) of Shahparan police station, Mohammad Harunur Rashid Chowdhury, said that since the man was reported missing, the police are continuing to rescue him with the help of technology.
