Agrani Bank campaign meeting in Singapore on sending remittances

Agrani Exchange House, a joint initiative of Singapore and Bangladesh High Commission, Singapore arranged a campaign meeting on legal remittances, universal pension scheme ‘Prabas’ and offshore banking deposits of Agrani Bank PLC.
An exchange of views and related campaign meeting was held with expatriate Bangladeshis working in Singapore at the main branch of Agrani Exchange House on Wednesday, according to a media release.
High Commissioner of Bangladesh High Commission, Singapore was present at the meeting.
Md Tauhedul Islam, NDC, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agrani Bank, Zaid Bakth, Chief Executive Officer of Agrani Bank Md Murshedul Kabir, Counsellor of Bangladesh High Commission Singapore SM Abdullah-Al-Mamun, Director of Agrani Exchange House Private Limited, Singapore Mustafizur Rahman, CEO and Executive Director Mir Md Bayezid Hossain and others were also present.
Md Tauhedul Islam, NDC, gave an informative discussion and gave a speech on the protection of money of expatriates and the creation of special investment opportunities through the banking system for the future.
Chairman of Agrani Bank Zaid Bakth made an important speech on the context, crisis and solution challenges of the global economy, including Bangladesh, and discussed the contribution of remittances sent through legitimate channels to the domestic economy.
In his speech, Chief Executive Officer of Agrani Bank Md Murshedul Kabir, highlighted the advantages and requirements of FC accounts and fixed deposit accounts in foreign currency under the offshore banking unit of Agrani Bank PLC as well as saving money and wealth management in foreign currency by investing in the foreign currency of expatriate Bangladeshis.
