Bangladesh National Women’s Cricket team will face Sri Lanka National Women’s Cricket team in their first match Group-B match of the Women’s T20 Asia Cup on July 20 in Sri Lanka.
A total of eight teams dividing into two groups will take part in the Women’s T20 Asia Cup.
Asian Cricket Council (ACC) released a new schedule of Women’s T20 Asia Cup on Thursday.
The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is scheduled to be held at the different venues of Bangladesh from October 3.
India, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, Nepal are in Group-A, while Bangladesh Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Thailand are in Group-B.
The curtain of the Women’s T20 Asia Cup will be raised on July 19. UAE will face Nepal in the day’s first match, while India will take on Pakistan in the day’s second match.
Bangladesh will play against Thailand on in their second Group-B match on July 22, Bangladesh will meet Malaysia in their third and last Group-B match on July 24.
Top two teams from each group will play in the semi-finals on July 26.
The winning teams of the two semi-finals will face each other in the final on July 28.
