block

Sheikh Arif Bulbon :
Tareen Jahan has been wandering in showbiz for almost four decades. Although she acted powerfully on the small screen, she was far away from the big screen.
However, in recent times, Tareen has crossed that distance and is acting in movies. She was seen in Hridi Haq’s movie ‘1971 Shei Shob Din’ last year.
In April of this year, the first Tollywood movie ‘Eta Amader Golpo’ starring Tareen was released in the theatres of West Bengal. This movie directed by Manasi Sinha is now running in theaters after completing 50 days.
In the meantime, Tareen’s new Tollywood movie has already been reported. Under the direction of the same director, Tareen will act in the movie titled ‘5 Number Swapnamoy Lane’.
Aparajita Adhya, Kharaj Mukherjee, Arjun Chakraborty, Annwesha Hazra, etc will also act in this movie.
Tareen left for Kolkata yesterday to complete 50 days of the movie ‘Eta Amader Golpo’.
While going she talked about her new Tollywood movie with this correspondent. Tareen said, “The movie ‘Eta Amader Golpo’ has already completed 50 days in theatres. We are all happy to achieve such a story based movie. This is the proof of what the audience can see in the theatres if it is a good movie. I went to Kolkata on that occasion. Apart from this, Manasi Di’s new movie has also been talked about. This will be the final talk about that.”
Like the first movie, director Manasi Sinha will talk about relationship in her second movie.
Manasi Sinha said, “There are many people who are forced to stay alone under the pressure of the situation, the story of this movie is about them. It is named after a house address. This movie is about the story of that house.”
In the movie ‘Eta Amader Golpo’, Tareen played the role of Bengali Hindu family girl, who is married to an aristocratic family in Kolkata.
When asked how her character will be in the new movie, Tareen told this correspondent, “The story has been discussed. Like the first movie, this time the stories will be seen in the relationship. However, I haven’t talked about my character in detail yet. Besides, now that I am not signed in the movie, I do not want to give ideas. I will tell everything after going to Kolkata and signing the contract.”
Tareen also said that besides Tollywood, she is talking about several movies of Bangladesh. “I am talking about the movie with two directors of Bangladesh. Nothing is final yet. I am reading the script. I will sit with them again after coming back from Kolkata,” Tareen added.
