A number of companies under the Jamuna Group of Bangladesh participated in the “Global Sourcing Expo-2024,” held in Australia.
At least 20 countries and regions across the world had participated in this three-day expo, which began on June 12 and ended Friday at the International Convention Center in Sydney.
The event serves as a platform to bring together industry leaders, suppliers and buyers of the apparel sector under one roof to promote innovative thinking through discussions, exchange of experiences, and product demonstrations.
The latest exhibition showcased various products of Jamuna Group subsidiary Hoorain HTF Ltd, garment units Jamuna Denims, and Jamuna Denims Weaving Ltd, reads a press release.
Sumaiya Rosalin Islam, director of Jamuna Group and managing director of Hoorain HTF Ltd, said, “We had earlier exhibited our various products at expos in Paris, Amsterdam and New York. This is our first time in Australia.
“This is a new experience, and an opportunity to learn and understand the Australian market. Also, such an exhibition can help attract international buyers and companies with the display of quality products. We have tried that for Bangladesh.”
