New air chief calls on President

Newly appointed Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan on Thursday called on President Mohammed Shahabuddin at Bangabhaban here on Thursday.

The President welcomed the new air chief while President’s wife Dr. Rebeka Sultana was present on the occasion, reports BSS.

President’s Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin briefed the newsmen after the meeting.

The President said under Forces Goal-2030, the present government is implementing comprehensive programs for the development of the Army, Navy and Air Force.
