Sports Reporter :
Bangladesh Cricket team will take on Netherlands in their third Group-D match of the ICC T20 World Cup (WC) today at Saint Vincent in Kingstown of West Indies. The match will start at 8:30 PM (Bangladesh Standard Time). Private satellite channel Nagorik TV will telecast the match live. Najmul Hossain Shanto will lead Bangladesh Cricket team, while Scott Edwards will lead Netherlands Cricket team.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh squad have already reached the West Indies from the United States of America.
The Tigers made an auspicious start in the ICC T20 World Cup defeating Sri Lanka by two wickets in their first Group-D match at Dallas in the USA on June 8.

Later, Bangladesh tasted a narrow four-run defeat to South Africa in their second Group-D match at New York in the USA on June 10. The Tigers lost to the Proteas due to controversial decision of the umpires.

However, Bangladesh need victories against Netherlands and Nepal to reach the ‘Super Eight’ phase. Bangladesh will face Nepal at the same venue on June 17.

Bangladesh collected two points from two matches, while Netherlands bagged two points from as many outings.
On the other hand, South Africa confirmed their Super Eight phase as the Proteas grabbed maximum six points from three outings.

Sri Lanka were almost ousted from the race of Super Eight phase earning just one point from three matches. If the match between Bangladesh and Netherlands will wash out by rain, Sri Lanka have a slim chance to enter the ‘Super Eight’ segment.
