Sheikh Arif Bulbon :
Actress, model and Lux star Rista Laboni Shimana died at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University yesterday (Tuesday) morning after a 14-day long struggle.
The career of this actress ended at the age of 39. Shimana left two sons named Shrestho and Swargo.
The first Namaz-e- Janaza of actress Shimana was held at 12:15pm at Channel i premises. Shimana’s longtime colleagues were present at the funeral. A mournful atmosphere was created when the dead body of the actress was brought to Channel i. Then two sons of the actress Shrestho and Swargo were present there.
Even among the people on the premises of Channel i, they were running around and playing sports.
These two children have not yet understood that their mother is no more. They were standing next to the picture of their mother and were enjoying themselves.
The two children have not yet understood, not to understand, that their mother will not return.
Seeing the two children who had just lost their mother, many people were moved to tears.
As soon as the refrigerated car carrying the body of Shimana arrived on the premises of Channel i, Shrestho and Swargo ran there. When the body was brought down for the funeral, Shrestho repeatedly wanted to run to the mother’s body. He wanted to see his mother’s face.
When asked about her mother, Shrestho’s answer was, “My mother wanted me to go to Cadet College, but mother is dead, I don’t feel good anymore.”
After the first funeral, Shimana’s body was taken to her village home in Nakla upazila of Sherpur district. Her body was buried there.
Ejaz Bin Ali, the younger brother of Shimana, told this correspondent that Shimana was buried in the family graveyard after another funeral after Maghrib prayers.
It is noted that after a long love affair, Shimana married singer Parvez Sazzad on June 4, 2014.
She took a break from work during the busiest time of her career. On December 16, 2016, she gave birth to her first child, Shrestho.
In March 2019, Shimana and Parvez were separated by agreement. In their decision, their eldest son Shrestho remains near to Shimana.
On December 13, 2019, Shimana married again and started a new family life. She married retired Major Jamael Imtiaz Saikat.
The second son of Shimana, Swargo was born on June 27, 2018.
