The selection of Nurses Association MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital Sylhet has been completed in a festive atmosphere. On Saturday (June 1), the day-long polling was held in the hall of Osmani Hospital’s seminar room.
Professor Dr. Ashiqur Rahman Majumdar performed the duties of Chief Election Commissioner in the election. Doctor Md. Azizur Rahman Rumon performed the duty of returning officer. Kanchan Roy was the presiding officer.
At the end of the day-long voting, Chief Election Commissioner Professor Dr. Ashiqur Rahman Majumdar announced the winners of the election. Shamima Nashreen was elected president unopposed in the election, Khadija Begum and Rekha Rani became vice presidents.
