On Saturday, the temperature of Ishwardi touched the threshold of severe heat wave. The Met Office recorded 39.9 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature on Friday was 39.5 degrees Celsius. It was 38.5 degrees Celsius on Thursday. Also the water vapor in the air is fluctuating between 48 and 54 percent. As there is more water vapor in the air, the heat is felt more. As a result, public life has come to a standstill. If you go out of the air-conditioned room, you have to eat cold.
Before this, the temperature of Ishwardi was recorded at 43.2 degrees on the last 30 April, but the level of suffering in public life was not unbearable due to low water vapor in the air. Ishwardi Meteorological Office says, if there is no rain, there is no escape from this suffering for now. The heat may increase in the next few days. The heatwave could continue for another week. Southwest Monsoon will spread across the country in the second week of June. Along with monsoon low pressure and heavy rains, there is a possibility of flooding in the northeast region. But there will be heat.
Nazmul Haque Ranjan, Assistant Observer of Ishwardi Meteorological Office, said that due to high humidity, people’s body is sweating and discomfort is increasing. Water vapor accumulates and rain is expected. It is not accumulating but is moving away. That’s why it’s getting hotter.
