Ferdous Ara also said after that, she will perform music in Assam, India and Calgary, Canada in July and September respectively on the occasion of Nazrul’s birth anniversary.
Ferdous Ara is busy every year on the birth anniversary and death anniversary of poet Kazi Nazrul Islam in the country and abroad.
Regarding talking about engagement of this time, Ferdous Ara told this correspondent, “After my long-term practice of Nazrul, one thing seems to me again and again about the creation of every moment of 365 days by the spiritual poet, he has written so much detail about people, no one else in the world has written so much – that too only 22 years and three months. He was silent for 42 years. I haven’t had the chance to know anything about his ocean of knowledge yet. It seems to me that there is much more to be learned about him and his writings. I don’t know if it is possible for me to know all of him in this life. Because knowing about the ocean is impossible. I try to carry out my duties or duties assigned to me with utmost respect and love for poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.”
