Tigers in USA : BD to play two warm-up matches before T20 WC

The members of Bangladesh Cricket squad reached the United States of America (USA) on Friday to participate in the forthcoming ICC T20 World Cup.
Bangladesh Cricket team will play two warm-up matches before the Tigers will take part in the ICC T20 World Cup. Bangladesh Cricket team already reached the United States of America. The USA and the West Indies are the hosts of the ICC T20 World Cup.
Bangladesh will play a warm-up match against the USA on May 28. The Tigers are scheduled to play another warm-up match against India. But the time and the venue of that match is yet to be finalised.
Before the warm-up matches, Bangladesh Cricket team will play a three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series against the hosts USA at Houston in Texas. Bangladesh will take on USA in the first T20I on May 21. The Tigers will face USA in the second T20I on May 23. Bangladesh will meet USA in the third T20I on May 25.
It may be mentioned that a number of 20 teams splitting into four groups will take part in the ICC T20 World Cup. Bangladesh are in Group-D with Sri Lanka, South Africa, Netherlands and Nepal. It is called the ‘Death Group’. Top two teams from each group will get the tickets of the ‘Super Eight’ phase.
Bangladesh will take on Sri Lanka in their first match on June 8 at Dallas in Texas before they will face South Africa in their second match on June 10 at New York .
Then the Tigers will travel West Indies to play their rest of the Group-D matches. Bangladesh will meet Netherlands in their third match at Kingstown in Jamaica on June 13 before they will take on Nepal in their last Group-D match at the same venue on June 17.
Bangladesh need at least three wins to move into the ‘Super Eight’ phase.
It is noteworthy that before went to the USA, the Tigers played a five-match T20I series recently against Zimbabwe and won the series 4-1. The series will boost up the Tigers for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup.
