6 sued under Cyber Law for insulting Bangabandhu, PM

A case has been filed under the Cyber Security Act against 6 people for publishing insulting and satirical pictures of Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina on social media.
Abu Shufian, son of Md Wab Ali of Ahargaon village of Chatak Upazila and Finance Secretary of Sunamganj District Chhatra League filed the case in Cyber Tribunal of Sylhet on Thursday.
The accused in the case are- Abul Kalam Azad Laskar (28) son of Shamsul Haque Laskar (28) of Chinir Chowk Munsipara village of Jakiganj Police Station, Ebadur Rahman (28) son of Md. Mujibur Rahman of Jarfar Nagar village of Juri Upazila of Moulvibazar Police Station, Mohammad Jahangir Alam (28) of Enayat Nagar village of Jagannathpur in Sunamganj. 30), Zahirul Islam Mahi (26) son of Habibur Rahman of Fatehpur Vadeshwar village of Golapganj police station, Rafiq Uddin son of deceased Fazlul Haque of Ungram of Doarabazar of Sunamaganj and Md of Baradesh Uttar village of Kanighat police station. Abdullah Naeem (26), is the son of Ekhlachur Rahman.
