Veteran cricketer Mashrafe Bin Mortaza did not play now wearing red and green jersey.
He did not officially announce his retirement.
But he is not reluctant from Bangladesh Cricket team.
He praised Bangladesh cricketers when they performed well and gave consolation when Bangladesh cricketers failed to make success in their cricket mission.
Mashrafe praised his Bangladesh Cricket squad before the Najmul Hossain Shanto & Co. start their T20 World Cup campaign.
Bangladesh Cricket squad left the city on Wednesday midnight for the United States of America to take part in the ICC T20 World Cup, which is scheduled to be held from June 2 to June 29.
Before leaving the country, Head Coach of Bangladesh Cricket team Chandika Hathurusingha and Captain of Bangladesh Cricket squad Najmul Hossain Shanto stated their target is to qualify for the ‘Super Eight’ phase.
A total of 20 teams dividing into four groups will take part in the first phase of the T20 World Cup. Bangladesh, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Netherlands and Nepal are in Group-D, which is called the ‘Death Group’.
Before taking part in the ICC T20 World Cup, Bangladesh will take part in a three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series at Houston in Texas.
Bangladesh will take on USA in the first T20I on May 21, the Tigers will face USA in the second T20I on May 23, Bangladesh will meet USA in the third T29I on May 25.
Mashrafe Bin Morataz gave a status on his Facebook. He wrote, “Go and kill it champs. Always best wishes for my heart of my country, best of luck for Bangladesh team, which is my live.”
Bangladesh will start their T20 World Cup campaign from June 8. The Tigers will take on Sri Lanka in their first match of the group.
Bangladesh will face South Africa in their second match on June 10. The Tigers will meet Netherlands in their third match on June 13. Bangladesh will face Napal in their last match on June 17.
