SCBA violence case: Advocate Juthi gets bail

A Dhaka court yesterday granted bail to Advocate Nahid Sultana Juthi in a case filed in connection with violence centering the recent Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) polls.

Metropolitan Magistrate Mahbub Ahammed of Dhaka CMM Court passed the order on Sunday after Advocate Juthi surrendered before the court and pleaded for bail in the case.

Assistant Attorney General Shaifour Rahman Siddique Saif, who was allegedly physically assaulted during the counting of ballots of the election, filed the case on March 8 against 20 people including lawyer Nahid Sultana
