The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) arranged a webinar titled ‘Sustainble Islamic Social Finance Ecosystem’ on Thursday.
President of ICMAB Prof Dr Md Salim Uddin FCMA thanked all the participants in this webinar and emphasised gathering knowledge about diversified fields like Islamic finance, which has a huge potential to shape social imbalance, according to a press release.
Dr Ruhaini Muda, Associate Professor, Faculty of Business and Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia was the key note presenter. She showed in her study that collaborative efforts like integrating corporate zakat have a high probability of impacting social sustainability.
Dr Muhammad Nazmul Hoque, Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Accountancy, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia also discussed this topic.
The webinar was inaugurated with a welcome speech by the Immediate Past President and Council Member of ICMAB Mr Md Abdur Rahman Khan FCMA.
A large number of fellow and associate members and students were present at the webinar, the release adds.
