Bangladesh Cricket team clinched the Twenty20 International (T20I) series 3-0 against Zimbabwe remaining two T20I matches as the Tigers defeated
Zimbabwe Cricket team by nine runs in the third T20I at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Tuesday.

Sent into bat first, Bangladesh piled up a fighting total of 165 for the loss of five wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and then restricted Zimbabwe to 156 for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs.

Bangladesh had a modest start with two openers Litton Das and Tanzid Hasan put on together 22 runs in the opening stand before Litton Das (12) was bowled out by Blessing Muzarabani.

After Litton’s dismissal, Najmul Hossain Shanto (6) was bowled out by Sikandar Raza when the hosts’score was 29 for the loss of two wickets.

After Shanto’s departure, Tanzid Hasan and Towhid Hridoy repaired the damage contributing together 31 runs for the third wicket partnership before Tanzid Hasan was caught at the deep mid wicket by Clive Madande off Faraz Akram when the Tigers’ total was 60 for the loss of three wickets.
