Valuable papers and furniture are being destroyed by rainwater taking away the roofs of dangerous and dilapidated buildings. The secretary and chairman-members of the respective Union Parishads are doing their official work amid insecurity with risk in mind. He feared a major accident any time after the collapse of the hazardous building. On Monday (April 29) it was found that the buildings are very dilapidated and dangerous.

Chairman of No. 2 Jamurki Union Parishad DA Matin said, the tinset building of Union Parishad located on the eastern side of Pakulya bus station adjacent to Dhaka-Tangail highway is very dilapidated and dangerous. Even if it rains a little, valuable documents and furniture are destroyed by water. There is a pond in front of the tinset building. Tinset Union Parishad building is also on the verge of collapsing due to the collapse of the pond.

Any time the tinset building collapses, major accidents can occur. But till date the new barad has not been constructed and even the dilapidated tinset building has not been renovated.
