In a distressing incident in Dhaka, a 22-year-old man was found deceased, hanging with his limbs bound, in his residence in the Sipahibagh area early on Friday morning.
The young man, identified as Jamal, originally from Jamalpur district, was discovered in his tin-shed home where he lived with his mother.
According to Officer-in-Charge Salahuddin Mia of Khilgaon police station, the grim discovery was made around 2:00 AM by local residents. At the time, Jamal was alone; his mother had traveled to their village a few days prior.
OC Mia detailed the scene, noting that Jamal’s body was found suspended with a rope around his neck, and both his hands and feet were tied. The police were alerted and subsequently recovered the body at approximately 5:00 AM.
As of now, details surrounding the circumstances of Jamal’s death remain unclear. The police are in the process of filing a case to investigate the incident further.
