The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has published the results of the written examinations of 44th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination.
A total of 11,732 candidates have passed in the examination, reports media.
The results are available at the PSC website.
The BPSC will hold viva voce for the successful candidates from May 8. The schedule will be disclosed in detail through newspapers and the BPSC website.
The online application for 44th BCS started on December 30, 2021. A total of 350,716 job seekers applied for it. Then the preliminary exam was held on May 27, 2023 in which 15,708 candidates passed.
According to the 44th BCS notification, 1,710 officers will be recruited in various cadres in this BCS. Among them, 250 people will be recruited in administration cadre, 50 in police, 10 in foreign affairs, 14 in Ansar, 30 in audit and accounts, 11 in tax, eight in cooperatives, seven in railway transport and commercial, 10 in information, 23 in post, six in trade, 27 in family planning, three in food, 485 in technical and 776 in education cadre.
