CCC councilor Tinu sent to jail

A court in Chattogram sent Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) councilor Noor Mostafa Tinu to jail in the case of beating up a young man named Mehedi Hasan Rakib of Panchlaish police station and threatening to kill him in the ward office. Chittagong Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Sarkar Hasan Shahriar’s court gave this order on Tuesday (March 19). Noor Mostafa Tinu, Councilor of Chakbazar Ward No. 16 of CCC. Chittagong Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court General Record Office (GRO) Branch Police Inspector Md. Abu Taher told that Councilor Noor Mustafa Tinu surrendered to the court and applied for bail in the case of kidnapping, beating and threatening to kill a youth of Panchlaish police station. After the hearing, the court rejected the bail application and ordered to send him to jail.
