City Desk  :

The committee has been asked to have one representative each from the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Law Commission, Bangla Academy, Dhaka University Bangla department, and Dhaka University law department, reports, media.
The committee has been asked to submit its report within the next six months.
The High Court bench consisting of Justice Naima Haider and Justice Kazi Zinat Hoque passed the ruling on the final hearing of the ruling issued on the writ in this regard.
Earlier, on March 14, 2022, the High Court had ruled on hearing a writ petition filed by 10 Supreme Court lawyers. The High Court wanted to know why the rule would not be directed to prepare and publish a reliable text by translating the existing fundamental laws of the country into Bangla for meaningful implementation of the court proceedings.
These 10 lawyers gave the notice before the writ. According to the notice, all the functions of the court are conducted in the light of law.
The notice also said that these laws are of utmost importance and use in decision-making at various stages of criminal and civil cases in the courts.
The legal provision of using Bangla language at all levels of the courts is completely meaningless and unreasonable without the preparation and publication of reliable texts by translating these laws into Bangla.
So far, no reliable Bangla text of these fundamental laws has been formulated.
For the sake of Bangla language usage at all levels, especially in the courts, it is essential to have a reliable translation of those basic laws translated into Bangla. The notice requested to take effective initiative to translate the Fundamental Laws into Bangla and publish the reliable text.
