The prices of daily commodities are increasing at rocket speed as the ruling government has failed to control the market, especially as a result of the Awami Syndicate.
BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the comment while addressing a press conference on Tuesday at BNP’s central office in the city’s Nayapaltan.
Rizvi said, “The holy month of Ramadan is going to arrive soon. The people of the country want some relief in this month of fasting, but the prices of daily necessities are increasing at rocket speed every day and it’s also beyond the people’s affordability.”
He claimed that the dummy government has completely failed to keep the market stable within the purchasing power of the common people due to the Awami looters. Besides, the ministers of the dummy government are patrons of the Awami Syndicate and thereby the prices of essential commodities are increasing at rocket speed.
Mentioning that the government’s job is not to blame others, but to take action against those who create misery in public life by making syndicates, the BNP senior leader said, adding, “The ruling party is blaming the BNP to hide their failure by creating controversy.
He further said that the people are choosing the dark path of suicide with their families as their inability to bear the pressure of hunger, financial hardship and debt.
