Entomology Division of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) has arranged a workshop on “Development of mass rearing protocol of beneficial predatory mites and their field application to control of harmful mites in vegetable crops” at Entomology Division Seminar Room BARI on Sunday. The project funded by Bangladesh Science Academy.
BARI’s Chief Scientific Officer (Entomology Division) Dr. Nirmal Kumar Dutta presided over the session while Director General of BARI Dr. Debasish Sarker was present as chief guest. Director (Training and Communication) Dr. Md.Tariqul Islam and Director (Support & Services) Dr. Ferdouse Islam were present as special guests. At the time, Professor Mahbuba Zaman from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh was present as a expert scientist. Chief Scientific Officer (Entomology Division) of BARI Dr. Nirmal Kumar Dutta presented the keynote paper in this workshop. Chief scientific officers and senior scientists of various divisions were present there also.
