Jatiya Party faction Chairman GM Quader on Saturday said, “We cannot stay away from greed. We can’t throw out those who are doing politics of other parties; we can’t take risks.”
“If politics is to be saved in the upcoming days, we have to take risks,” he commented.
Pointing to ruling Awami League, GM Quader said, “Don’t try to spoil the politics in the country. Allow the parties to do politics. It can’t be accepted that you’ll do politics unilaterally.”
The JaPa faction chairman said this during the exchange of greetings on the occasion of his birthday at the Banani party office yesterday afternoon.
Meanwhile, Rowshan Ershad, Chairperson and Chief Patron of another faction of the Jatiya Party held a separate meeting at the Kakrail party office in the city yesterday.
GM Quader also said that “Our plough symbol will be taken away; such threats are given.”
The government always creates a coalition to weaken us. When we do politics in the real sense, they will try to break our party by obstructing other people’s politics.
Referring to his party as a balancing factor, Quader said, “The government is forced to listen to us. We have political imperatives.
The moment we become captives and domesticated by one person, and then we are no longer needed by the people.’
Meanwhile, the other faction chairperson Roshan Ershad commented that she would have accepted everything if the party (Japa) would have not been massively defeated in the 12th National Assembly elections.
