Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Saturday predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind at different parts of the country in next 24 hours from 9am on Saturday.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Khulna divisions and weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country,” a met office bulletin said.
Night and day temperature may rise by (1-2)oC over the country, the bulletin added.
Country’s maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 31.2 degrees Celsius at Teknaf in Chattogram division while Saturday’s minimum temperature 09 degrees Celsius was recorded at Tetulia in Rangpur division.
