BPL Cricket restarts today

After one-day hiatus, the Ispahani Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket restarts at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram, the port city of the country today. Khulna Tigers will take on Durdanto Dhaka in the day’s first match, which will begin at 2.00pm. Rangpur Riders will face Chattogram Challengers in the day’s second match in the day’s second match, which will start at 7.00pm. Private satellite sports channel T Sports, private satellite channel GTV will telecast the matches live.
Rangpur Riders have achieved the top position gaining 14 points from nine matches, while Comilla Victorians have taken the second spot grabbing 14 points from as many outings.
Fortune Barishal have secured the third position collecting 10 points from nine matches, while Chattogram Challengers have taken the fourth spot grabbing 10 points from as many outings.
Khulna Tigers have attained the fifth position bagging eight points from nine matches.
Sylhet Strikers have obtained the sixth position earning six points from nine matches.
Durdanto Dhaka remained at the bottom position with two points from 10 matches.

Towhid Hridoy of Comilla Victorians is the highest scorer with 341 runs with an average of 48.71.
Mohammad Naim of Durdanto Dhaka is the second highest scorer with 276 runs with an average of 27.60.
Tamim Iqbal of Fortune Barishal is the third highest scorer with 273 runs with an average of 30.33.
Shoriful Islam of Durdanto Dhaka is the highest wicket taker with 18 wickets with an average of 17.50.
Mahedi Hasan of Rangpur Riders is the second highest wicket taker with 13 wickets with an average of 13.15.
Shakib Al Hasan of Rangpur Riders is the third highest wicket taker with 13 wickets with an average of 14.53.
