The 20-episode drama serial titled ‘Agartala Conspiracy Case’ written by Pantho Shahriar and directed by Sokal Ahmed has already
started its production.
Popular TV actress Shamima Tusti is producing this drama series. Shilpi Sarkar Apu, Saju Khadem, Rawnak Hasan, Deepa Khandakar, Imtiaz Barshon and many others are acting in different roles in the serial.
Noted actress Shilpi Sarkar Apu played an important role in this serial. She told this correspondent, “I can only say that the period of the story of this drama series is from the period of the Language Movement to the Liberation War. Saju, Deepa and I – all are from the same family. Sokal Ahmed is making the series with much patience and care. Pantho Shahriar always writes good stories. As usual he has written the story of this series very well. All of us who are acting in this serial are doing the work with enough attention to their respective characters. It is hoped that the audience will like the serial.”
Meanwhile, Shilpi Sarkar Apu also said that she has started working in a new movie from yesterday. She took part in the shooting of the movie titled ‘Shilpojibi’ in the capital’s Mirpur area. Mukitul Bari is giving direction of the movie.
Meanwhile, Deepa Khandakar was seen playing a negative role in a drama series for the first time. Deepa was seen in this role in the series ‘Mashrafe Junior,’ directed by Sajjad Sumon, on Deepto TV.
While talking about acting in the serial ‘Agartala Conspiracy Case’, Deepa Khandakar told this correspondent, “I am playing the role of Jobeda in this serial. I, along with others, participated in the shooting of this drama serial drama in old Dhaka’s Narinda area. It is quite neat and tidy work. I am very optimistic about this task.”
Deepa informed said that under the direction of Mostafizur Rahman Manik, she has almost completed the shooting of the movie ‘Dark World’.
