Kona in colourful shade of her career

National film award winning singer Dilshad Nahar Kona is very popular in playback songs.
She is also excellent in modern songs. Besides jingles, she is very good at voice over. Again she is at the top of her generation in stage shows.
In one word it can be said that Kona has been winning the hearts of the audience of all classes with her songs year after year.
Even in the season of stage shows before the election, the musicians of the country were not very busy. But right after the election, the artistes are now busy with stage shows.
According to that rule, Kona has now become busy with stage shows in the season of stage shows. She has already completed several consecutive stage shows outside Dhaka.
Kona will sing songs in the two stage shows on January 26, one stage each on January 27 and 28, and on February 1.
As usual, Kona is busy with movie songs. However, in addition to this, Kona’s demand for drama songs has also increased because movie songs are rendered regularly. But now the use of music has increased in many dramas. Because of that, the engagement in drama songs of Kona has increased a lot.
Regular lending her voice to playback songs, singing songs in dramas, also participating in stage shows, giving voice to jingles, and giving voice over – all in all, Kona is in the colourful period of her career.
While talking about this colourful period of her career, Kona told this correspondent, “Everything is actually the mercy of Allah.
If not, walking in the world of music for more than two decades, winning the National Film Award for singing, over the years, I have been rendering beautiful songs in movies, jingles, regular singing songs in stage shows and in addition to being happy with my personal life – it would not happen.
Allah’s mercy is very important because it is throughout life. And I am very happy with my family life. My mother received the ‘Maa Padak’ for my achievements in music, my father received the ‘Gorbito Baba’ medal – these are one of the joys of life.
I was able to enjoy these achievements of life because of people’s prayers. Many people can’t do it in one lifetime. I have sincere thanks and gratitude to the fans of my music. I want to present better songs in the future.”
Kona also said that in the meantime, she has rendered song in a drama directed by Hasib Hossain Rakhi. Sajib is co-singer of Kona in this song.
The song is penned by Mohammad Ali and the tune is composed by Sajib.
Meanwhile, written by Ahmed Rizvi, tune and music are composed by Sajib, Imran and Kona rendered a duet song in the same director’s a drama.
Kona informed that in February, she will release a few new songs together.
