State Minister for Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury and Libyan Ambassador to Bangladesh Abdulmutalib SM Suliman have discussed about orderly and responsible migration of workers.
The discussion was held 11:00am on Monday when the Libyan envoy paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment.
Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Secretary Md Ruhul Amin was present during the meeting.
The Libyan ambassador congratulated the new government and the Prime Minister of Bangladesh on behalf of the government of his country and wished the current government mentioning that the brotherly relations between the two countries will be strengthened further in the coming days.
Both sides discussed about the brotherly harmony between the two countries, orderly and responsible migration, and prevention of human trafficking, discouraging irregular migration and ways of sending Bangladeshi workers to the Libyan labour market.
