Regarding talking about his father’s birthday, ‘Nayok Raj’ Razzak’s younger son, popular film actor Samrat told this correspondent, “To tell the truth, as the days go by, the pride of someone’s birthday is getting less and less. Once there was a big party on my father’s birthday.
I enjoyed that time very much. But now it’s not like it’s a special day,
I always pray for my father. I go to my father’s grave, I will go today. Praying to Allah, I will say only this – May Allah grant my father heaven.
If father has ever caused any
trouble to anyone – let him forgive. Just pray for everyone. We really have no idea about whether or not someone made special
arrangements for the day.”
The many times National Film Award winners and Swadhinata Padak winner Razzak is the Founder President of Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association. Meanwhile, Razzak’s 75th birthday was marked by a song titled ‘Nayok Raj’ written by Omar Faruk and composed by popular musician Bappa Majumder.
