Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif on Sunday said that the 12th parliamentary election has been accepted in Bangladesh and foreign countries.
“Election has already been accepted in the country and abroad. So, someone may get mental peace by talking about this election. But, there is no other benefit over this discussion,” he told journalists while inaugurating Rahima-Afchar Smrity T-20 tournament on Mohini Mill ground here.
People made the elections participatory by enthusiastically casting vote in festive atmosphere, he said, adding that thus, they decided that it was an acceptable election.
Regarding the opposition party, Hanif hoped that Jatiya Party (JaPa) would play an important role as an opposition party if the party is elected.
