Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pranay Verma on Sunday made a courtesy call on Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun at his office at the Industries Ministry in the city.
During the meeting, they discussed various issues related to mutual interests, including development of bilateral relations and trade and commerce, said a press release.
In the meeting, both sides expressed hope to continue cooperation in expanding trade and business.
In his speech, Humayun laid emphasis on increasing cooperation of Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) and Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) with similar organizations in India.
