Secretary of the Ministry of Religion Md. Abdul Hamid Zamaddar as President and Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Fisheries and Animal Resources Dr. Abu Naeem Muhammad Abdus Sabur as General Secretary have been elected for the new committee of Jhalkathi Officers Association.
Jhalkathi Officers Association made its debut unanimously in the presence of various cadre officers born in Jhalkathi district on the evening of Thursday at the Waqf Auditorium located in Moghbazar of the capital and the first committee was formed. In the meeting, Deputy Commissioners Customs Al Amin was elected as Treasurer in the 25-member committee for two years.
Additional Secretary of Ministry of Labor and Employment Md. Jahangir Hossain, Additional Secretary of Financial Institutions Division Amal Krishna Mondal, Registrar (Additional Secretary) Directorate of Joint Stock Companies and Firms Md. Mizanur Rahman, Managing Director of Shadharan Bima Corporation Md. Harun Or Rashid, Divisional Additional Director of Narcotics Control Directorate were also present at the meeting.
