Sophie Turner seeks to withdraw child abduction claims

In a surprising turn of events, actress Sophie Turner has reportedly filed a request to drop the child
abduction claims she previously made against her estranged husband, singer Joe Jonas. The legal action was initiated in September, where Turner sought “the immediate return of children wrongfully removed
or wrongfully retained,” as per court documents.
After three months of negotiations, the former
couple has seemingly reached an amicable custody agreement over their daughters, three-year-old Willa and 18-month-old Delphine. Attorneys for both parties have jointly approached a federal judge in New York, requesting the dismissal of Sophie’s previous
filing, marking a significant step towards resolution in their ongoing divorce proceedings. In her initial September filing, Turner accused the Jonas Brothers singer of initiating the ‘wrongful retention’ of their
children on the 20th of that month. Allegedly, the couple had agreed during Christmas 2022 to make Britain their ‘forever home’ and was in the process
of exploring schools for their eldest daughter.
