Zhilik’s song coming under her own name
Sheikh Arif Bulbon :
Usually songs are made with the name of heroines in movies. If we talk about the current generation, however, there are three heroines of
the current generation of Bangladesh whose names have become songs. They are: Mahiya Mahi, Porimoni and Bubly.
In the movie ‘Romeo VS Juliet’, there was a song about Mahiya Mahi titled ‘Tui Aamar Mahiya Mahiya Mahi Mahiya’. The song about Bubly was ‘Bubly Bubly Aamar Sona Bubly Re’ in the movie ‘Bosssgiri’. On the other hand, the famous song about Porimoni in the movie ‘Rokto’ was ‘Ami Danakata Pori’.
Among the songs of these three, Porimoni’s song is the most prominent. This song about Porimoni has enjoyed more than nine crore views. Bubly’s song has been enjoyed by more than two crore viewers while Mahiya Mahi’s song has been enjoyed by more than one crore viewers.
However, the song rendered by Khalid Hasan Milu about the popular heroine Moushumi among their previous generations also gained skyrocketing popularity.
In the continuity of the names of the heroines, this generation’s popular musician Zanita Ahmed Zhilik has joined the singers’ list.
Zhilik’s name means a song titled ‘Zhilik’ is being released today on Rongon Music’s YouTube channel.
The song is written by Jamal Hossain, while composed by Milon Mohammad, and music was arrangement by Sajib Das.
The music video of the song was produced by Saikat Reza.
Regarding talking about a song with her name, singer Zhilik told this correspondent, “Dear Jamal Bhai and Shahin Bhabhi, I consider them my guardians in the world of music. The biggest role in my original songs is theirs and Rongon Music. Many of my songs have been released by Rongon Music. And many more songs written by Jamal Bhai and these will be released in the future. That sequence is very special and for me it will become one of the songs. Because this song is written with my name and suddenly Jamal Bhai said that he has written a song with my name. By this way, my happiness has exceeded the limit. Thank you Saikat Reza Bhai for making a very beautiful music video and letting me dance. Those who know me know that I like to dance a little bit. I am very happy. Inshallah, everyone will like our song.”
Lyricist Jamal Hossain said, “I consider Zhilik to be a member of my family and my Rongon Music family. I love her very much. Zhilik’s humble, ever-smiling presence charmed me. Suddenly, I made this song about her. I hope everyone will like the song.”
