Safa Kabir, Khairul Basar pair up for two dramas

Khairul Basar and Safa Kabir’s drama titled ‘Afsos’, directed by Serniabat Shawon, and produced by noted lyricist and owner of Rongon Music Jamal Hossain, is going to be released today (January 10) on the YouTube channel of Rongon Music.

Actor Khairul Basar is very optimistic about the drama. He told this correspondent, “I like the story of this drama very much.

The director has made the drama with great care. Moreover, in the beginning of my acting career, I did some good work with Safa Kabir.

I believe that the drama ‘Afsos’ is also going to be a good work in that continuity.”

Both Khairul Basar and Safa Kabir informed that the two of them worked in another excellent story based drama titled ‘Antoto Kotha Houk’.

Sohail Rahman wrote story of the drama while Selim Reza gave direction of it.

The shooting of the drama has been completed in different locations of Uttara of the capital.

Khairul Basar left for Singapore after finishing this drama. And Safa Kabir also went to wander around
on her own, to spend time.

While talking about acting in the drama, Khairul Basar told this correspondent, “Antoto Kotha Houk’ is a love story based drama. This is the drama of the story of this period. It dramatises the story of two easily human beings in the present day.

Through various complications, two boys and girls meet and talk.

But they are confused whether they love each other.

At some point they realise that there is something between them. The director has tried to make the play with sincerity.

And Safa Kabir was very cooperative in this drama as always.

In a word, my work understanding with her was excellent.”

On the other hand, Safa Kabir shared her feelings by this way, “I am very optimistic about both dramas – ‘Antoto Kotha Houk’ and ‘Afsos’. As a co-artiste, Khairul Basar is very sincere in one word. I like Basar’s performance.

I feel very comfortable working with him as a co-artiste. I like to work with him in two works. I am hoping that the audience will like the two dramas.”

Director Selim Reza said, “Before this
I have produced eight to nine dramas.

However, this is the first time; I have made a drama about this pair – Khairul Basar and Safa Kabir. The audience will fall in love with the story, Inshallah.

The drama will be aired on which channel will be finalised soon.”
