2023: Apu Biswas had a successful year from being an actress to film producer

Dhallywood’s popular actress Apu Biswas has kept her presence on the silver screen as an actress since the beginning of her acting career. She has
presented many
successful movies to the audience by teaming
up with Shakib Khan.
And this year was a challenging year for Apu Biswas. Because this year, the movie ‘Lal Saree’
produced by Apu Biswas and directed by Bondhon Biswas has been released. Besides
production, Apu Biswas also acted in this movie made with the government grant. National Film Award winning actor Symon Sadik acted opposite Apu Biswas in this movie.
Although ‘Lal Saree’ is
a government grant movie, this film is also produced by Apu
Biswas from her own production company.
This year’s most
successful movie ‘Priyotoma’, directed by Himel Ashraf, was released on June 29,
during Eid-ul-Azha. Besides, another popular movie ‘Surongo’ was also released that day.
Apart from this, Apu Biswas’s ‘Lal Saree’ movie was also released.
Other movies are that although there are huge crowds to watch in theatres, ‘Lal Saree’ was the first movie produced by Apu Biswas and the audience was very interested. Here lies Apu’s complacency as a producer.
Apu Biswas told this correspondent, “I am
sincerely grateful to the Bangladesh government for trusting me and
giving me the opportunity to make a movie with the government grant.
I have my sincere gratitude to Bondhon Biswas for giving me all the support. I am grateful to the whole team. I have my sincere love to the
audience. I am really impressed by the love they have shown towards my movie. I hope to produce movies like this in the future. But I will make movies with better stories. But I will make movies with better stories so that the audience will be
more impressed by
that movie.”
Meanwhile, Apu Biswas starrer and Bondhon Biswas directed movie ‘Chhayabriksho’ is waiting for release.
This year Apu also acted in a web film for the first time. Apu Biswas impressed the audience by acting in the web film titled ‘Chhayabaji’
directed by Syed Shakil.
